Celebrate Deepavali with Astro Vaanavil, Astro Vinmeen HD & Astro Vellithirai! This year is filled with local and international shows from fun-filled variety and games shows, action-packed movies, comedies, romance, awards shows to telemovies.

Below are the list of of exciting programmes:-

• Paramapatham (Astro Vaanavil, 4 November 2021 @ 9:00pm): A Malaysian Tamil movie with 18 awards at various international film festivals. Shown during prime time, this is the FIRST mind twisting, Malaysian inspired board game story. Directed by Viknes Perrabu and Thanesh Perrabu, this fantasy-thriller story is about an archaeologist named Aroon and his three friends who go for an adventurous trip to a hill for 2 days. During the trip, Aroon found an ancient board game engraved with the word "Paramapatham”. This brings excitement to them and they start playing immediately. However, they were unable to finish the game. From the moment they rolled the first dice, the game starts to affect their lives in more ways than one. 

• Kochadaiiyaan (Astro Vaanavil, 4 November 2021 @ 9:00am): An animated period drama epic film written by K.S Ravikumar and directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is India's first photorealistic motion capture film. This film features characters whose designs were based on the appearance and likeness of their respective actors. Starring: Rajinikanth & Deepika Padukone. 

• Veetukku Veedu Deepavali (Astro Vaanavil, 4 November 2021 @ 12:30pm): A Deepavali celebration with Malaysian artists featuring the "Tamiletchumy" cast and team. This show will showcase a variety games & debates presented in a fun and informative way. "Tamiletchumy" was the top TV Show on Astro Vaanavil in 2020 and S2 is currently airing with high viewership.

• Dhira (Astro Vaanavil, 5 November, 2021 @ 10:00pm): A Tamil adventure animated movie based on the chronicles of legendary Indian poet, Tenali Ramakrishna.

• Teddy (Astro Vinmeen HD, 1 November 2021 @ 9:30pm): A 2021 Tamil fantasy medical thriller film written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. The film stars a teddy bear in the titular role as a special character.

• Mookuthi Amman (Astro Vinmeen HD, 4 November 2021 @ 9:30pm): It is a 2020 Tamil-language Hindu mythological fantasy comedy film written and directed by RJ Balaji in his directorial debut. It revolves around a news anchor joining forces with the title character to expose a godman as fake. 

• Behindwoods Gold Medal 2021 (Astro Vinmeen HD, 4 November 2021 @ 2:30pm): An annual award ceremony celebrating and honouring icons who have inspired and impacted millions from different walks of life.

• Comedy Mandram (Astro Vinmeen HD, 4 November 2021 @ 7:00pm): A new format, fun-filled comedy Pattimandram with Madhurai Muthu as the judge together with teams of women and men.

• Deepavali Ragalaiz (Astro Vinmeen HD, 6 November 2021 @ 9:00pm): A 90 minute entertaining studio-based gameshow with a vast range of Indian TV and movie artists.

• Deepavali Angpao (Astro Vinmeen HD, 4 & 5 November 2021): A LIVE "Call & Win" 5-min filler show where callers have an opportunity to win up to RM10,000 CASH prize. The show will be hosted by the ever talented and beautiful, Nathiya Jayabalan.

• Sethupathi (Astro Vellithirai, 1 November 2021 @ 9:00pm):  This action thriller film is written and directed by S.U.Arun Kumar, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan as the two lead roles. The film is about a police officer whose reputation is at risk when a young suspect is severely injured during his custody with increasing threats from his enemies. 

• Sulthan (Astro Vellithirai, 4 November, 2021 @ 9:00pm): A 2021 Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, produced by S.R.Prakash Babu and S.R.Prabhu with stars Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna.

• Silence (Astro Vellithirai, 5 November 2021 @ 9:00pm): A thriller film directed by Hemant Madhukar and stars Madhavan, Anushka Shetty, Michael Madsen and Anjali. Seattle PD is investigating a murder case and Sakshi, a deaf and mute artist, along with her husband Antony, a renowned cello player are related to it.

• 24 (Astro Vellithirai, 6 November 2021 @ 9:00pm): A science fiction action film revolves around a scientist who invents a time machine which leads to a bitter battle between his evil twin brother and his son.

• Thuppakki (Astro Vellithirai, 4 November 2021 @ 9:00am): An action thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss which stars Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal. It revolves around an Indian Army officer on a mission to track down, destroy and deactivate a sleeper cell after witnessing and barely escaping a bomb blast executed by the cell.
